The prolongation of the Joint Way Forward on migration issues with more than 40 human rights organs such as EGCSO and many human rights activists and European Parliament representatives was held by ECRE on 28 September.
The European Union has focused on this deal with Afghanistan government to return Afghan refugees back to their country and there are currently strong concerns around this disproportionate focus.
The issues discussed were the following:
. The security issue about the deportation of refugees to Afghanistan is the biggest concern.
. The deportees are physically and mentally unstable.
. Not agreeing on the deal due to lack of the security of the deportees and their unclear future.
